There were 86 houses sold from July 1 through July 31, 2007. They had a median sales price of $360,000. This compares with 118 sales during the same period in 2006. In 2006, the median sales price for this period was $311,250.

County Home Sales
There were 67 houses sold from July 1 through July 31, 2007. They had a median sales price of $417,500. This compares with 51 sales during the same period in 2006. In 2006, the median sales price for this period was $524,000.

Las Campanas Home Sales
There were 2 houses sold from July 1 through July 31, 2007. They had a median sales price of $1,135,000. This compares with 5 sales during the same period in 2006. In 2006, the median sales price for this period was $1,055,000.

County Home Sales

There were 51 houses sold from April 15 through May 15, 2007. They had a median sales price of $600,290. This compares with 72 sales during the same period in 2006. In 2006, the median sales price for this period was $424,000.

Las Campanas Home Sales

There were 5 houses sold from April 15 through May 15, 2007. They had a median sales price of $1,258,267. This compares with 4 sales during the same period in 2006. In 2006, the median sales price for this period was $1,412,500.

1st Quarter 2007 Las Campanas Sales


Whether for land or for housing, Las Campanas has finally arrived as a Real Estate shopping destination. Greater product mix, a world class equestrian facility and the proposed development of a commercial service center have contributed to the luxury development’s newly emerging appeal.

1st Quarter 2007 Las Campanas Lot Sales Steady

Sales of Las Campanas lots have maintained a good pace through the 1st quarter of 2007, with 18 sales, but below the 25 sales for the same period in 2006. 2005 sales were 8; and 2004 sales 4. There are currently 149 lots on the Las Campanas market with a median price of $304,500.

The median lot sales price for the 1st quarter 2007 was $300,000 vs. $198,000 for the same period in 2006.

1st Quarter 2007 Las Campanas Home Sales

Sales of Las Campanas houses, single-family, town house, condominium, continue last year’s upward trend through the 1st quarter of 2007, with 13 sales, while sales for the same period in 2006 were 10; for 2005 were 11; and for 2004 were 5.

The median house sales price for the 1st quarter 2007 was $1,222,500 reflects a much improved product mix at Las Campanas than that offered in previous years. The median sales price of a Las Campanas house for the same period in 2006, was $1,395,000

Right now there are 82 homes listed for sale in Las Campanas with a median price of $1,425,000.

Las Campanas, appears to be a good opportunity for a personal residence, or for an investment opportunity.

1st Quarter 2007 Residential Sales

City of Santa Fe residential sales (single-family, town house and condominium) were down dramatically for the 1st quarter (Jan. 1 – April 19) of 2007. In fact, this was the slowest 1st quarter in 4 years. Total sales for 2007 during this period were 255. For the same period in 2006, 350 units were sold; in 2005, 325 units were sold; and in 2004, 333 units were sold.

On the other hand, Santa Fe County residential sales (single-family, town house and condominium) were only down slightly for the 1st quarter (Jan. 1 – April 19) of 2007. Total sales for 2007 during this period were 192. For the same period in 2006, 205 units were sold; in 2005, 180 units were sold; and in 2004, 153 units were sold.

1st Quarter 2007 Median Sale Price
The median price for City of Santa Fe residential sales (single-family, town house and condominium) continued to rise for the same period year over year. Median price for 2007 during this period was $322,000. For the same period in 2006, the median price was $315,125; in 2005, the median price was $270,000; and in 2004, the median price was $270,000.

The median price for Santa Fe County residential sales (single-family, town house and condominium) continued to rise for the same period year over year. Median price for 2007 during this period was $503,000. For the same period in 2006, the median price was $429,900; in 2005, the median price was $382,500; and in 2004, the median price was $332,000.
